So, this is a very different summer than we thought! The Tinderbox has adapted to this new way of life and we are working via Zoom.
This summer holiday, The Tinderbox is leading weekly drama workshops for 5-16 year olds. All via Zoom. There are so many ways the students can learn and have fun even if they’re not in the same room.
What will each age group be doing?
5-7 year olds will play games to improve imagination, team-work and listening skills.
Rhymes, songs and pretending will form the focus of the main session.
8-10 year olds- playing drama games to break the ice, improve speaking and listening skills, and have fun! The main session will consist of script work- the children will work in small groups to develop character and story-telling.
11-16 year olds- drama games kick the session off, improving our improvisation and teamwork skills. The main part of our session will focus on Physical theatre as a means of story telling- using Frantic Assembly work to influence our theatre making.
Lots of fun. Make new friends. And be dramatic!
All sessions are led by The Tinderbox director, Andrea Turner.
Zoom invitations will be sent out the weekend before the session that week.
Place are limited so please do book early to avoid disappointment.
