Drama Club
What is Drama Club?
DRAMA CLUB is a weekly session with no performances or sharing of work. Many children really enjoy drama for the fun it brings, the confidence that it develops and for the friendships they make. Each week, as part of the workshop, we play drama games to encourage team work, communication and creativity. The children take part in improvisations and also devise their own scenes and pieces of theatre to show in front of the others, if they wish to.
In Drama Club, there are no extra weekend rehearsals, no lines to learn, no costumes to find, just a weekly session exploring drama and acting. So if you or your child already has a full schedule and making time for a production is just not possible, Drama Club will fit.
Drama club is also great for those children and teenagers who love the way drama and acting makes them feel but who aren’t ready to perform yet and want to build their skill set.
The Tinderbox also provides a Youth Theatre. This is for children who wish to perform.

What do I need to wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing. We take our shoes off for the workshops, so participants will need socks on.
Do I need to bring anything?
No! Just yourself. If anyone is in need of a drink during the workshop, The Tinderbox has a kitchen and so you don’t even need to bring a water bottle!
When is Drama Club?
Weekly workshops are during term-time only. We take a break in school holidays and bank holidays but we do still meet on school InSet days as all schools take their InSet days at different times.
How do I book in?
Contact us here to book your place or to ask for a free taster session. You will be emailed a registration form to fill in once you begin Drama Club. Fees are payable in advance and on a full- termly basis.

Fees
- Fees are paid full-termly and in advance
- Payment to be made on receipt of invoice- refunds will not be made once payment has been received.
- No refunds are made for non-attendance of students.
- Any classes cancelled by The Tinderbox Performing Arts Centre will be rescheduled and no reimbursements are made. If TTPAC are unable to reschedule, reimbursement will be made.
